California Managed Provider Network

California enacted SB 899, Medical Provider Network Program effective January 1,2005. This program is being implemented by Artex Risk Solutions to assist our clients in controlling the cost of medical care in worker's compensation claims. Once fully implemented, the employer retains the right to control medical access for the life of the claim. We believe that this control will greatly impact the cost of your compensation claims.

To locate your CA MPN documents please visit: www.gallagherbassett.com Then click on LOGIN at the top of the page. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR ARTEX ANALYTICS ADVOCATE FOR THE USER ID AND PASSWORD. Once logged in on the Gallagher Bassett website, use the links on the left side of the page to access First Health MPN Documents, Predesignation Rules and Poster & Employee Notifications. The MPN for our program is Zurich American/Gallagher Bassett/First Health MPN.

To locate medical providers, nationwide visit: www.firsthealth.com. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR ARTEX ANALYTICS ADVOCATE FOR THE USER ID. If you utilize the CA MPN click the drop down arrow to access the First Health Select CA MPN. If you do not utilize the CA MPN use the default Coventry Integrated Network. Then click on the Channeling Tools link to locate medical providers by address or zip code.
